Why Bears?

Nic is the original "Bear." Friends and family members agree Nic personifies the bear image. He can be the cuddly teddy bear, the big protective bear, and the hungry wild bear.

When Amy came along she started calling him "Big Bear," since Nic is quite large. In turn, Nic started calling Amy, Little Bear, because he felt they needed to be the same species in order to date.

So, hence, we became The Bears.
